- Responsible for performing dimensional & visual inspection
- Responsible for performing hardness testing
- Responsible for performing NDE tasks as per qualification
- Responsible for documenting inspection results & records
- Responsible for determining accuracy of heat codes and Mill Test Report (MTR)
- Verification of traceability prior to release of the product
- Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all QMS requirements
- Maintain professional relationship with machinists, assemblers, test technicians, Supervisors and Managers
- Assign Heat Codes to all purchased raw material/ Welding consumable update it on Syteline Perform receiving inspection on buy-out part or parts received from vendors
- Assign Heat Code on all job routers
- Verifies that dimensions, fit-up and weld preparations are in accordance with specifications and/or drawings, as applicable
- Ensure that the inspection priorities are followed
- When required, perform calibration and assist in Calibration related process
- Verify traceability and documentation for semi-finished/ Raw material received from internal companies
- File an NCR for non-compliances and take corrective action as per engineering disposition
- Comply with all health and safety rules
- Comply with Company's QMS System procedures
- Assist supervisor, engineers and managers in any quality control & assurance related tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor
- High School diploma or a GED equivalent or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawing, symbol, tolerances.
- Basic Computer Skill – MS Office.
- Good Communication skill
- Familiarity with GD & T required
- Ability to file NCR
- 5-7 years related experience.
- Ability to read, interpret drawings
- Visual Acuity Testing that meets the applicable requirements of ASNT SNT-TC1A
- Color contrast testing required.
- Forklift driver's license preferred
