Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pre-Delivery Inspection Team Member to join our team at our facility in Wilmington, NC.

As a member of our inspection team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products before they are delivered to our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough inspections of products prior to delivery, following established guidelines and procedures.
Using hand tools you will be installing attachments such as Buckets, Thumbs and Couplers.
Mechanically inclinded and knowledable of tools.
Identify and document any defects, damages, or issues with the products.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve any identified issues and ensure product quality.
Maintain accurate records of PDI inspections, including detailed reports and documentation.
Assist in the implementation and improvement of inspection processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Managing inbound and outbound paperwork for shipping and receiving machines.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates on inspection progress and findings.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a similar inspection or quality control role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or issues.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong handson aptitude.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime, as needed.
Ability to work outside in abnormal weather conditions.

While performing the duties of the position, the employee is regularly required to work with and around oils, coolants, and cleaning solutions.

Physical exertion may be required to transport up to 40 pounds, lift in excess of 40 pounds may be required with assistance.

Work requires standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and working in small cramped areas. Walking averages greater than two (2) miles per day.
Personal safety protective equipment is required.

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary and other exceptional benefits.
