- Provide comprehensive age appropriate nursing care to medical surgical patients.
- Perform a variety of administrative/floor duties as an extension and in support of the head nurse.
- Administer oxygen, IV fluid, blood transfusion and medications.
- Serve as a team leader and charge nurse and make decisions regarding priorities in patient care for shift assignments.
- Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment such as oxygen masks, Ambulatory bags, intravenous pumps, wall suction, etc.
- Instruct patient and family members regarding disease process and provides emotional support as needed.

As a civilian family practice physician you will play an integral role in providing exceptional healthcare to the Soldiers and Families in our great Army and the 3rd Infantry Division.

US Citizenship Required
Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
Active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
