    Description

    Dagen Personnel is currently looking for an IT Business Analyst to join a well-known oil & gas company based in Greenway Plaza.

    This is a contract role with a mix of in-office and remote work (in the office on Tuesday – Thursday, WFH on Monday and Friday).

    We need an experienced professional who can team up with business users, grasp their needs for document management, and devise solutions utilizing our Meridian Cloud system. The perfect fit will have a solid background in analyzing and understanding content management requirements, crafting solutions with Meridian, tackling issues, and providing tech support to end-users.

    The ideal candidate must possess CONFIGURATION proficiency and the knack for posing the right questions to the relevant individuals (Managers, Directors, etc.) to enhance the system they'll be dealing with.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Designing and executing tailored solutions to meet specific business needs by scrutinizing user requirements, formulating system specifications, delivering clear documentation, setting up the application, and providing training.
    • Acting as a hands-on configuration analyst with the ability to comprehend and set up new applications to fulfill user demands. Upholding and backing facility engineering content management systems by configuring them following company standards.
    • Working jointly with other IT experts and business divisions to merge facility engineering content management systems with other systems and apps.
    • Offering training and aid to end-users on facility engineering content management systems and best practices.
    • Creating user guides and supplying continual technical support.
    • Spotting and resolving user problems, including carrying out system tests and resolving glitches.
    • Serving as the primary contact point for handling user queries and technical matters.

    Creating processes and protocols for data exchange between the company and external parties.

    Qualifications:

    • Preferred acquaintance with Facility Engineering Document Management Systems.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
    • 5+ years of experience with Content Management Platforms.
    • Competence in SQL Server database admin.
    • Excellent communication and issue-solving skills.
    • Exceptional writing aptitude for technical documentation.
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team-oriented atmosphere.
    • Adaptability to a high-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
    • Thorough attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
    • Familiarity with Facility Engineering Document Management Systems is advantageous.
