- Administer policies and procedures and provide support to department employees.
- 7+ years of Aerospace/Defense Manufacturing experience
- Experience leading teams of 100+ people with strong performance management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and QAD.
- Quality-focused and production-driven mindset.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.

Amotec is conducting a search for a talented Director of Operations for a leading global aerospace manufacturing company located in the Los Angeles area. This role will play a pivotal part in directing and optimizing operations to achieve strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Position Summary:
As the Director of Operations, you will oversee the manufacturing and production control functions, developing strategies to meet operational objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Your responsibilities will include fostering a zero-injury culture, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance objectives are met, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for long-term benefits.
