    Description
    Title - Release Train Engineer

    Location- Hybrid Work (Onsite 1-2 days) (Company Resides in Golden Valley, MN)

    Duration- Initial 12 months + extension options - Long term contract role

    Rate- Open ( depending on experience)

    End client- Allianz Life

    Interview- Virtual (Video) interview

    Visa- Must be Green Card Holder or US citizen Only

    Need Consultant ONLY *LOCAL* to Golden Valley, Minnesota.

    SAFe certifiedHold at least one SAFe certification: SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), or SAFe Program Consultant.

    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) requiredBrief Job Description:

    Essential Functions:
    Facilitate program events such as PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, the Scrum of Scrums, and the Portfolio leadership meetings.

    Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning events and readiness ceremonies and drive activities and tasks for the development of a vision, roadmap, and program backlogFacilitate synchronization events, including ART sync and Solution Train syncFacilitate Release and DevOps activities to support the delivery of end-to-end value.

    Track and report the ART performance, identify dependencies, risks, and impediments identified during PI planning and throughout the PI lifecycleFacilitate the Agile Release Train (ART), escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement.

    Resolve escalated impediments, and/or escalate impediments to Leadership and Management as requiredCommunicate the train's progress via weekly updates to management highlighting successes, risks, areas of improvement, and suggested resolutions.

    Facilitate team collaboration with Solution Architect and Test Lead to ensure high quality technical delivery.
    Participate in Portfolio and Program Management process improvement and standardization activities.
    Interface with project stakeholdersConsult with management on an ongoing basis to maintain strategic link to business needs.
    Assure compliance with company project management policies and standards.


    Knowledge, Skill & Competency Requirements:
    Must have experience managing AGILE Scrum TeamsDemonstrated communication and influencing skills.
    Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
    Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).Knowledge of industry products, functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures.
    Experience in formal techniques of risk managementExcellent organizational skills.

    Experience working with some of the following Agile tools:
    ServiceNow Agile, JIRA, Confluence, AzureDevOps, or other similar ALM toolsExperience working closely with business teamsExcellent organizational skills.
    Excellent relationship management skillsExperience in change managementFinancial and Insurance Product Industry Experience is a plus


    Required/Desirable Skills:


    Minimum 4 years working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DevOps)With a minimum of 2 years of in SAFe environment.

    Direct experience working as an RTE or Program ManagerBachelor's degreeExperience implementing SAFe or a similar Agile scaling frameworkFacilitating many of the SAFe ceremonies including but not limited to PI Planning, PI shareout, scrum of scrums, demosIdentifying and managing risks and dependencies between teamsSAFe certifiedHold at least one SAFe certification:
    SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), or SAFe Program Consultant.
    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
