Description
Our client offers automation solutions for customers from various industries in the West Valley area.
To strengthen their team, we are currently looking for a permanent SPS Software Developer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Software development for SPS controllers (Siemens & B+R)
- Programming, commissioning, and testing of control systems for plants
- Designing and configuring safety-related SPS controllers
- Creating specifications and selecting new control systems
- Creating and maintaining project-related specifications, project plans, test plans, and user manuals
- Training employees and customers
- Monitoring current developments in software and making recommendations for implementation
- Providing support for service worldwide
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a technical education with additional qualifications in SPS programming
- Professional experience in software development for SPS/PLC and commissioning of automated systems
- Knowledge of robotics is an advantage
- Innovative and creative mindset
- Fluent in German and good knowledge of English is mandatory
