The RN, Charge functions under the direction of the Department Director and Chief Clinical Officer and performs safe, effective clinical care utilizing the nursing process in the assigned department.
Develops administrative skills aimed at ensuring safe patient care, effective communication, and activities which enhance unit efficiency.Supports and contributes to the Quality Assurance Program.
Demonstrates an interest in the continuing education process, identifying own professional needs, and assisting with education of peers and other staff members.
