    Systems Engineering Integration Lead

    The Opportunity:

    As a systems engineer on our project, you'll help plan, develop, and perform lab, functional, integration, and production testing. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into multiple disciplines. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. You will identify new opportunities to modernize the network, so your clients achieve their goals. Work with us and resolve daily challenges as we improve the DoD's network access and application security architecture.

    You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a team lead in a client-facing role, planning and executing technical tasking for teams with 3+ members
  • 3+ years of experience with network or system migrations
  • 3+ years of experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, ASM, APM, or WAF
  • 2+ years of experience with systems or network security, auditing, and user authentication, including PKI or SAML
  • 2+ years of experience with creating and managing ACLs, DNAT, or SNAT
  • Experience with implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Windows, Linux, or F5 operating systems
  • Experience with using security tools and methodologies, including Splunk, Solar Winds, ACAS, or Zero Trust Strategies
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570 Compliance IAT Category, Level II Certification, including Security+, and an Operating System Certification
  • Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with VMware vCloud Director
  • Experience with Veeam Backup and Recovery
  • Experience with analyzing data across systems to improve design-making and optimize performance
  • Experience with drafting and updating technical stakeholder requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes
  • Ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104 Certification
  • Clearance:

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
