    LHH is patterning with a growing, highly reputable construction company in the Greater Phoenix area Located not far from the Sky Harbor Airport, this position is hybrid, working only 1-2 days per week in the office with a very flexible schedule in general.

    You are the ideal candidate for the role if you not only have your bachelor's degree in accounting, but also expert knowledge with job costing and/or percentage of completion (POC) or work in progress (WIP).

    This is an excellent organization who promotes from within, has a great culture and leadership team and who is financially stable, yet continuing to expand through acquisitions.

    Compensation is up to $110k base, plus 5% bonus, PTO, 401k match and medical/dental/vision plans.

    Job Functions as a Senior Accountant will Include:
    Responsible for month end general ledger functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and reporting
    Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and ensure balance sheet entries are recorded accurately and timely
    Develop and maintain work in progress and percentage of completion analysis necessary for accurate and timely journal entries
    Provide annual audit preparation support, which includes financial statement preparation and review
    Conduct in-depth research to resolve data integrity/system-related discrepancies
    Take part in various Ad Hoc requests and process improvement-related initiatives

    Education, Qualifications and Skills:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting required
    Must have a minimum of 2 years of construction accounting experience
    Proficiency in Excel and ERP software experience required
    Strong knowledge in POC/WIP processes
    Exposure to fast-paced, ever-changing environments and/or company mergers/acquisitions
    Excellent communication (verbal and written) and relationship building skills
