    Description

    Firm:
    Alternative Investment Manager, $25 billion aum

    Title:
    Vice President, Controller of Corporate Accounting

    Location:
    Hybrid, 3x a week in Dallas
    Fully paid benefits and great culture

    Description:
    Work closely with senior management and the corporate accounting team to prepare management accounting deliverables.
    Prepare quarterly statements with the support from direct reports.
    Review reconciliations, general ledgers, journal entries, and quarterly consolidation.
    Prepare quarterly budgets.
    Review and approve outgoing wires for capital calls, distributions, and accounts payables.
    Manage cash balances and cash flows to ensure sufficient funding for expenses and investments.
    Assist with annual audits.
    Work on projects in order to streamline and improve efficiency.

    Minimum Requirements:
    6+ years of both hedge fund and private equity financial statement preparation experience for management accounting.
    Knowledgeable with capital calls and distributions.
    Knowledgeable with consolidation.
    CPA acquired.
    Experience with budgeting.
    Team management experience of 2 or more onshore staff.
    Advanced Excel required.
    Netsuite experience is a plus.
    Self-starter with the ability to work with competing deadlines.
