    One of our clients in the system integration field are looking for an Automation and Controls Engineer within Dallas Texas.

    In particular the opportunity involves working with a range of PLC and HMI platforms including Allen-Bradley, Wonderware and more.
    This individual must be technical in automation and control systems programming, using platforms such as PLC, HMI, or SCADA.

    As well as being proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with good communication skills with ability to work in a high output environment.

    Responsibilities:
    Develop/Install/Commission Plant Controls & Automation Systems, including PLC Programming, HMI Development, & MES Data Collection
    Controls & Automation Systems Technical Support, utilizing the HELP Desk System
    Design & Specification of Plant Control System Architecture, including Control Panels, Hardware, and Communication Protocols
    Develop/Enforce Process Controls Standards

    Requirements:
    Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college/university is preferred but not required. Industry experience will be considered in the absence of a degree.

    Minimum of 5 years working within a Controls & Automation Engineering role in the Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or similar Industry.

    Advanced Ladder Logic Programming within Allen Bradley PLC's (ControlLogix) is required
    Advanced HMI Development is required, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra System Platform
    Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles is required
    Familiarity with Design/Specification of Process Control Panels is required
