    At a Glance

    • You're a motivated rising senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas listed below from an accredited college or university:
      • Electrical and Computer Engineering
    • This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It's a full-time, 10-week commitment from May 29, 2024, through August 2, 2024.

    What you can expect in this role
    As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 29, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
    Internship responsibilities may include:

    • Assist with documentation, reviews MOPs (Methods of Procedure), works on projects/systems/issues of varying complexity surrounding network planning, and configuration. Run reports from Jira or Remedy. Develop configuration audits based on tooling or ad hock.

    Required qualifications

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December May 2025
    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
    • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for Charter Sponsorship

    • Organizational skills
    • Problem solving abilities
    • Proficient in Software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
    • Working knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model, routing protocol knowledge, basic MS and other office software, assist with documentation, reviews MOP (Methods of Procedure)., Works on projects/systems/issues of varying complexity surrounding network planning, and configuration.
    • Working toward the Cisco CCNA (or a variant of) or higher, JNCIA or higher certification, or CompTIA Network+, as this position is IP network-related.

    The pay for this position has a salary range of
    $22.00 to $24.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
