Role Summary:

The SailPoint Solutions Engineer is responsible for being the technical lead engineer reporting to the ProofID Program/Project Managers within the projects won by ProofID. General activities are installation, integration and deployment or enhancements/maintenance of SailPoint IdentityNow software projects for clients and partners. This is a client facing role where you could be the primary technical resource on the front line responsible for turning this SailPoint client Identity requirement into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• integration, and deployment of the IdentityNow product in client environment.
• with client post implementation on user testing, debugging, support and environment maintenance.
• to client and partner aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level appropriate for the situation.
• with Project Manager/Program Manager on scope, schedule, status, and documentation.
• and delivering technical training to other ProofID consultants assigned to the engagement.

Key Competencies:

The ideal candidate has experience with many of the technologies below:

• years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company or systems integrator. This should include 3+ years of enterprise software implementation experience as a developer/engineer.
• in software development, implementation, and configuration, namely,,SailPoint IdentityNow products.
• communication skills and experience collaborating with clients.
• with some of the following:
• SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML.
• and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms.
• (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL)
• (LDAP, AD).
• systems (SAP, PeopleSoft) a plus.
• JS, Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL.
• with IAM space with identity management provisioning systems including Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell a plus.
• with RBAC and Provisioning a plus.

Preferred:

• with working with Program/Project Management to assist in (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation)
• with QA duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans).
• software or internal IT audit experience

Location details:

The consultant should be based in the USA.

This is a remote position, some travel (5-10%) may be necessary.

Education/Certifications:

• IdentityNow Certified Professional and/or Engineer is required.
• Science, Engineering degree, or 6-10 years equivalent experience
• certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus.
