    Customer Care Representative – Mount Prospect, IL

    $21 - $24/Hour

    We are currently seeking a Customer Care Representative to add to our growing team. In this position you will be responsible for supporting our customers in all aspects of the ordering process, as well as collaborating with team members to ensure the highest caliber of customer service.

    Essential Functions:

    • Enter customer orders received directly from customers or sales representatives; edit orders when necessary, placing strong focus on detail and accuracy
    • Communicate with customers regarding issues such as order status, estimates and quotations, order changes and confirmations, as well as complaints or questions.
    • Interact with vendors, production, sales, and shipping to meet customer's expectations for pricing, delivery, and quality.
    • Create and maintain accurate customer specifications for order entry and estimating.
    • Expedite orders through vendors or production as mandated by customer requests for delivery.
    • Communicate will warehouse to verify inventory counts and shipping information

    Qualifications:

    • 1+ years experience in a customer service role
    • Capacity to function and multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to listen to instructions and follow them without repetition
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • AS400 is a plus but not mandatory
