    Partnered with the FAA, we work with state and local governments and commercial operators to enable the safe integration of drones into the national airspace and communities at scale through digital infrastructure, strategic partnerships and thought leadership.


    Responsibilities and Duties:
    6+ years of successful B2B SaaS sales career. Looking for proven repeated performance of "over quota" achievement – prior management experience. Need "hands on" DNA.

    3+ years of sales management experience – growing and leading a small team with "hands on" structure - clear track record of revenue growth.

    Experience with emerging technology platform in mobility or adjacent field, ideally with a product that offers elements of data and analytics as part of value prop.

    Experience with a quicker pace, focused sales process. Sold/managed within a "smaller-ticket" items - below $10k deals. Looking for a quasi-transaction-oriented, low cost, high volume, order processing seller.
    Sold in cooperative, team model - with their primary role as quarterback or coach.

    We want someone who "wants the ball in their hands" but not someone who is going to burn all internal supporters to close business.

    Small/midsize Company/Startup/Entrepreneurial background - success in gritty environment. Does not expect to be handfed by Product Marketing, Business Development - or babysat by leadership.
    Success in intense, competitive selling environment - fighting for budget dollars. Knows how to drive urgency for proposed solutions - rise to Top 3 on prospects action list. Need someone who has found budget for "new category" type of solutions.
    Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA would be preferred.
    In charge of risk ownership for respective department.
    Other duties as necessary.

    Qualifications and Skills:
    A seasoned sales professional who has adopted a "philosophy" or "methodology" to drive successful, win-win sales performance. Someone who has already been "trained" on some sales methodologies.

    A "student of the game" who has actively demonstrated an ability to self improve sales skills, sales techniques and sales strategies.

    "Hunt" for business sales skills - Prospecting - knows how to qualify and create business - teach others. A history of directly engaging in Targets at the earliest stages of the sales cycle (preferably directly at the Decision Maker level).
    An orientation to a funnel-based, metric approach to sales - manages through a territory-oriented, funnel of staged opportunities. Clear approach to measuring success/qualification within standard sales cycle model (e.g. MEDDPICC).

    Somebody who knows where to spend time - rigorous in qualification of opportunities - and therefore a competent ability to forecast business.

    Properly advocates and uses ASL Sales Stack (i.e. CRM) – Guides team to always be "on top of things" - independently uses such tools. Can bring high velocity sales process to life within tools & automation.
    Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills - knows how to connect with people, build and maintain relationships. Likable - but we don't want someone who exclusively sells via a schmooze approach - credible and provocative.
    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - articulate, effective communicator, presenter and audience manager.
    An active member of a sales community (LinkedIn, etc.) - commitment to the sales profession, "student of the game".
    Part 107 or another pilot's license a huge plus.

    Up to 25%
