- Process and reconcile invoices received from vendors.
- Verify and match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Resolve discrepancies and issues with vendors regarding invoices or payments.
- Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process customer refunds or adjustments as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
- Record journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in inventory management processes, including reconciling inventory counts to general ledger records.
- Record inventory transactions and adjustments accurately.
- Assist in analyzing inventory variances and investigating discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Provide support during the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders as requested.
- Assist in providing information and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Junior Accountant for one of our growing clients in the Cincinnati area. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of accounting and experience and a degree in accounting or finance is highly preferred. Pay will depend on experience and education within a range of $21/hr. and $27/hr. This position is onsite and Temp to Hire.
