Job Type:
This is a full-time, hybrid work position from an Anchor QEA office. Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time. Evening and weekend work will be expected as company duties demand.

  • Leader of the recruiting team through collaboration, teamwork and training for growth and development.
  • Developer and teacher of best recruiting practices and processes such as sourcing methods, technology, developing and tracking recruiting metrics.
  • Builder of collaborative internal partnerships with HR, Managers and Directors for forecasting and sourcing of talent needs.
  • Builder of external partnerships to expand reach of Anchor QEA and projects credibility to attract high level talent.

Responsibilities:


  • Understands the company's strategic plan and executes a recruiting strategy to support its success.
  • Understand the succession needs of the organization to develop a better recruitment strategy.
  • Works with other HR Leads to optimize the employee experience from recruiting to new hire.
  • Ensure accuracy in transfer of employee data from recruitment process to new hire process with the HRIS system.
  • Develop and support an annual calendar of career events, including industry conferences, college fairs, job fairs, and alumni events. This includes sourcing people to attend events on behalf of the company.
  • Develop and track recruiting metrics monthly and provide annual review.
  • Oversee and execute the intern hiring process.
  • Develop and execute a college sourcing strategy.
  • Follow an EEO/AAP compliance strategy with legal counsel and Director HR.
  • Ensure compliance of recruiters with state and federal hiring practices.
  • Negotiate contracts with external recruiters.
  • Maintain and recommend budget for recruiting to Director HR.
  • Assigns and oversees the work product of staff members, identifies when team needs to be expanded.
  • Support each staff member's performance, through coaching, training, and feedback to enhance each team member's contributions and professional goals to deliver on the recruiting strategy.
  • Address performance concerns of staff members immediately to set up team member for professional success with Director of HR. Other duties as assigned.

Other Duties:
Non-essential


  • May lead special projects, such as recruiting guide or onboarding guide.
  • Develop a high school outreach presentation for staff members to introduce the company and environmental consulting to younger people.
  • Suggest job description changes, as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility:


  • Supports a team of 2 direct reports with 34 indirect reports (external).

Travel:

This position requires limited travel - up to 10% of time days a year).


It is expected that this role will travel to attend college career fairs, HR meetings, company meetings and to visit other Anchor QEA offices.


What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's degree or 10 years equivalent experience in HR
  • Experience as a Recruiting manager, minimum of 4 years of direct supervisory experience
  • Deep knowledge of labor laws and compliance
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
