    This is a full-time, hybrid work position from an Anchor QEA office.

    Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time.

    Evening and weekend work will be expected as company duties demand.

    What's the Opportunity?

    The HR Recruiting Lead leads a team whose purpose is to attract, source and hire qualified candidates for the company.

    This internal and external facing individual is responsible for sourcing with a team all levels of talent to the organization for the company to meet its strategic and profit goals.


    Goals for this Position:
    Developer and leader of a recruiting strategy for the company.
    Leader of the recruiting team through collaboration, teamwork and training for growth and development.
    Developer and teacher of best recruiting practices and processes such as sourcing methods, technology, developing and tracking recruiting metrics.
    Builder of collaborative internal partnerships with HR, Managers and Directors for forecasting and sourcing of talent needs.
    Builder of external partnerships to expand reach of Anchor QEA and projects credibility to attract high level talent.

    Responsibilities:
    Understands the company's strategic plan and executes a recruiting strategy to support its success.
    Understand the succession needs of the organization to develop a better recruitment strategy.
    Works with other HR Leads to optimize the employee experience from recruiting to new hire.

    Provide insights to the Director of HR on recruiting, interviewing, and improving the company image to attract candidates that grow the organization and reflect our values.

    Advise hiring managers on proper interviewing methods and different ways to think about how to predict better candidate outcomes.
    Search for and uses new sourcing methods to find job candidates.
    Ensure accuracy in transfer of employee data from recruitment process to new hire process with the HRIS system.
    Evaluate and suggest better recruiting software to simply experience for staff members and/or candidates.
    Develop and support an annual calendar of career events, including industry conferences, college fairs, job fairs, and alumni events. This includes sourcing people to attend events on behalf of the company.
    Develop an outreach strategy to locate underrepresented qualified candidates.
    Develop and track recruiting metrics monthly and provide annual review.
    Oversee and execute the intern hiring process.
    Develop and execute a college sourcing strategy.
    Follow an EEO/AAP compliance strategy with legal counsel and Director HR.
    Ensure compliance of recruiters with state and federal hiring practices.
    Negotiate contracts with external recruiters.
    Maintain and recommend budget for recruiting to Director HR.
    Assigns and oversees the work product of staff members, identifies when team needs to be expanded.

    Support each staff member's performance, through coaching, training, and feedback to enhance each team member's contributions and professional goals to deliver on the recruiting strategy.

    Address performance concerns of staff members immediately to set up team member for professional success with Director of HR.
    Other duties as assigned.


    Other Duties:
    Non-essential
    May maintain relationships with key hires to source additional qualified candidates.
    May lead special projects, such as recruiting guide or onboarding guide.
    Develop a high school outreach presentation for staff members to introduce the company and environmental consulting to younger people.

    Suggests training options to HR Lead / Learning and Development for staff members who interview to ensure a better experience for candidates and legal compliance with hiring laws.

    Suggest job description changes, as needed.
    May attend industry conferences to source high level candidates.
    Explore use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance recruiting process.

    Supervisory Responsibility:
    Supports a team of 2 direct reports with 3-4 indirect reports (external).


    Travel:
    This position requires limited travel – up to 10% of time days a year).

    It is expected that this role will travel to attend college career fairs, HR meetings, company meetings and to visit other Anchor QEA offices.

    What Are We Looking For?

    Ideal candidates will have the following:
    Bachelor's degree or 10 years equivalent experience in HR
    Experience as a Recruiting manager, minimum of 4 years of direct supervisory experience
    Highly experienced in screening, sourcing, and interviewing job candidates at senior to executive level
    Deep knowledge of labor laws and compliance
    Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
    Experience with various applicant tracking software and HR databases
    Knowledge of social media and professional networks
    High proficiency to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
    Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
    Desire to work in a consulting environment that is fast paced, not traditional
    Willingness to learn and have fun

    Education and Experience:
    Extensive experience working in an engineering or scientific consulting company project-based environment.
    Extensive experience working in growing companies.

    Base Level Benefits for Regular Full-Time Positions:

    Healthcare:
    Medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability programs.
    Paid Company and Floating Holidays: 7 paid company and 2 floating holidays annually
    Vacation: 2 weeks accrued paid vacation based on length of service.
