Are you an experienced professional with a strong passion for software development? As the head of our department-wide software development platform, you will be responsible for DevOps topics, configuration management, and the product quality of our software tools CANoe/CANalyzer.

You will work with two teams to continuously improve the platform for our developers.

Your profile:

Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
Extensive practical experience in software development as a developer or software architect
Several years of experience in leading a team both functionally and disciplinarily
Indepth knowledge of agile software development with C++/C#, methods such as Scrum and Kanban, and related tools (e.g. JIRA)
Strong communication skills, creativity, and a confident demeanor
High level of initiative and teamwork skills
Excellent German and English skills

Your tasks:

Functional and disciplinary leadership of managers and employees
Shaping the departmentwide strategic direction for development methods and processes for approximately 350 developers
Continuous optimization of the development platform with the goal of combining efficient development and high quality standards
Prioritizing requirements, setting priorities, and coordinating with all stakeholders within the department and at Vector
Ensuring product quality during development phases and supporting product management during release.
