    Description
    A premier client in the MSP space is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the team.

    This person reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller and perform monthly journal entries and reconciliations, drive process improvements and work across the accounting function to ensure accurate and timely financial results.

    They will perform and review journal entries related to normal month/quarter-end close cycles.

    They will also prepare general ledger reconciliations and GL account analysis; ensuring balances are accurate, sufficiently documented and meet accounting requirements.

    This person will develop and document business processes and procedures while ensuring strong internal controls, research technical accounting issues and create processes to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintain and create operational and accounting financial standards.

    They will perform Percentage of Completion Accounting (POC), maintain accurate records of financial information, support and participate in internal audits and other control processes narratives, participate in external audit, including preparation of required schedules, and perform adhoc projects, research and analysis as assigned.


    CPA
    3-5 years of accounting experience

    Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    Working knowledge of NetSuite and excel

    Driven by zero defect capable processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, high transaction environment

    Bachelors degree I Accounting or Finance

    Big 4 experience (KPMG, PwC, EY, Deloitte)
