- Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and contribution margin analysis.
- Assists with maintenance of the general ledger.
- Participates in full-cycle AR processing - PO requests, billing preparation, corrections, reporting, collections, and payment postings.
- Prepares banking journals, and bank deposits, and performs banking reconciliations.
- Participates in full-cycle AP processing - vendor account reconciliations, invoice processing, vendor payment and remittance preparations, and communications with vendors.
- Manage expense accounts.
- Assist with cash flow report preparation and analysis.
- Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
- Assist with third-party audit; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform an annual audit.
- Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Coordinates with software vendors to maintain accounting software systems.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of general financial accounting.
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to assist with the correct preparation of tax reports.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, required.
- At least five years of related experience is required.
