About the Position:
The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12/13.
Responsibilities Serve as a Cybersecurity Specialist in accordance with the Army Regulation (AR) 25-2,Information Management Army Cybersecurity and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
Acquire and manage the necessary resources to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture. Collect and maintain data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting. Communicate the value of information technology (IT) security throughout all levels of the organization stakeholders. Evaluates and approve development efforts to ensure that baseline security safeguards are appropriately installed. Participate in the development or modification of the computer environment cybersecurity program plans and requirements.Develop and apply IA and cybersecurity requirements for adequacy and effectiveness of security measures, continuity of operations, and protection of systems and system content.
Provides updates and reports to management, as needed, for cybersecurity concerns on assigned systems.Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply:

hardware design, operating systems, and software applications) to ensure they meet cybersecurity requirements; 3) Conducting vulnerability/risk assessments; 4) Enhancing information security controls to support cybersecurity requirements.
