    Description

    Our established dental office is in Colorado Springs, CO. Our team is growing and looking for an experiencedDental Patient Coordinator for our busy family practice. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. We have a strong, supportive team and need someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. We are asking the Dental Patient Coordinator to travel between our location and our sister office, working two days at each location.

We invest in our teams and nurture the growth of each individual. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to work with two fast-paced and energetic teams.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history
    • Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
    • Answer calls and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment
    • Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
    • Knowledge of dental insurance and an understanding of the breakdown of benefits
    • Review treatment plans and financials with patients
    • Assisted with meeting office financial goals by ensuring hygiene and dentist schedules were packed and scheduled appropriately.
    • Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
    • Update necessary documents into Denticon
    • Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointments
    • Additional duties as needed, such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office

    Requirements
    • Two or more years of experience in a dental front office setting is required
    • Dental Insurance knowledge is a must
    • Ability to work independently
    • Customer service oriented
    • Team player
    • Knowledge of Denticon is preferred but not required
    Salary Description

    $19-$21/hr
