    Description

    Job Description

    The Bridge Family Center is seeking Direct Care professionals to work with adolescent males in DCF Care at its Wolcott STTAR Home. They currently have full-time and part-time openings. If you join as a full-time employee for 40 hours/week, you will receive a sign-on bonus of $1,000; $500 for 24-39 hours/week; $250 for 8-23 hours/week, and per diem employees meeting shift requirements. The bonus is paid after 3 months of employment, subject to performance and attendance.

    GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Youth Worker ensures residents' safety, implements the relational model, and supervises daily activities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Behavioral Management

    • Maintain residents' routine for a safe environment.
    • Engage residents in positive interactions and leisure activities.
    • Supervise daily chores and living activities.

    Program Management

    • Implement the relational model daily.
    • Provide transportation and medication administration.
    • Offer crisis intervention and counseling.
    • Perform intake and discharge procedures.
    • Maintain documentation and cover extra shifts when needed.
    • Qualifications: An Associate's degree in Human Services or relevant field is preferred. Experience working with at-risk adolescents is required. Professional boundaries, communication skills, and relevant certifications are necessary.


      Multiple Full and Part-Time positions are available offering different shifts, with most part-time roles requiring weekend availability.
