    Description

    Job Title: Retail Design Specialist at Birch Lane

    Join our team at Birch Lane and help customers embrace our Classic Style for Joyful Living. As a Retail Design Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring guests confidently create a home where life's magical moments unfold.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide an authentic and friendly customer experience, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Conduct in-store, in-home, and virtual design appointments.
    • Utilize interior design expertise to assist customers with their design needs and purchases.
    • Use sales analytics and design software tools to enhance store profitability.
    • Share product expertise and market trends to influence customer buying decisions.
    • Work independently with excellent communication and time management skills.
    • Participate in operational store activities and ensure policies are followed.
    • Additional responsibilities as needed.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in interior design, furniture, or home goods.
    • Understanding of design principles and trends.
    • Ability to work in a team sales environment.
    • Strong organization, communication, and self-motivation skills.
    • Track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Specific vision abilities required for the job.
