Additionally, our metro Chicago manufacturing plant provides expert services for PCB assembly, standing out particularly for assemblies requiring quick turn prototyping, BGA Expertise, and high-volume PCB Assembly.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Keeping a strong presence and managing all operations and people on the production floor.
  • Evaluate and manage supervisors and leads on the production floor.
  • Set goals and expectations for the production Supervisors. Report weekly KPI report to COO.
  • Manage the accuracy of all SOPs on the production floor
  • Collaborate with COO on any problems that are found regarding production.
  • Motivate by setting the tone of the production floor and uphold quality.
  • Identify problems or process weaknesses, eliminate downtime and waste to increase throughout by constantly evaluating the efficiency of the people, machines, and processes.
  • Sustain a training program and support the certification programs to strengthen and grow workforce sustainability.
  • Responsible for the stability of the production floor by Overseeing the cleaning and operator's preventive maintenance, and upkeep give input to any replacement of production equipment.
  • Hold weekly huddle meetings with production supervisors and leads to discuss work performed or expected.
  • Collaborate with production manager, planning, sales, inventory, shipping, to fulfill goals and daily weekly and monthly shipment requirements.
  • Review weekly with reports to track KPIs for each area and look for ways to improve them.
  • Inform the production staff of their performance regarding the monthly goals, changes or expectations for the upcoming month.
  • Guide, coach, and encourage supervisors to grow needed problemsolving skills within their department.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Requires minimum 5 years of experience managing production processes and people.
  • Electrical mechanical knowledge
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for managing employees.
  • Experience with equipment used in the manufacturing of printed circuits. IPC-A610, ISO9001, IPC-CC830C
  • Ability to read and comprehend prints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Manufacturing and or Printed Circuit experience
  • Computer and documentation skills

Preferred Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong people management skills
  • Track KPI and identify problems and solutions.
  • Proven record in training employees about safety and production
  • A working knowledge of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health
  • Ability to coach and motivate employees.
  • Multilingual a Plus

Pay:
$85, $95,000.00 per year
