Power Electronics is a multinational company, number 1 manufacturer of Solar inverters in the United States, UK, and Australia. We also manufacture EV chargers and Drives in an industrial scale, providing service to companies all over the globe.

Power Electronics is searching for new team members to sustain its business presence in the US and continue to provide its clients with outstanding support.


Job description


We are searching for a Purchasing Associate with some previous experience in this area to provide service in the US and will receive backup from our main headquarters in Spain as well as from our US team.

Main tasks will include but are not limited to:


  • Supplier development: contact with potential suppliers (mechanical and electrical parts, logistics, packaging, tools, services, etc.
  • Perform purchasing activities according to defined strategies by Indirect Purchasing department
  • Identify new suppliers increasing competition.
  • Purchase orders creation, invoice validation and supplier creation (SAP)
  • Receiving material together with logistics team
  • Report to Corporate Indirect Purchasing manager and dotted line to Finance or General Manager in PE US.
  • Budgeting
  • Follow up with suppliers
  • Request for quotation and negotiations
  • Purchase orders management
  • Keep system clean and updated.

Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and written with others effectively.
  • Ability to work in teambased environment, developing crossfunctional network of resources.
  • Ability to identify problems, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others to develop solutions.

Requirements:


  • Business Administration, Supply chain studies or similar
  • Purchasing experience 1 to 2 years at least
  • Experience using SAP (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Intermediate Spanish is a plus

Pay:
$50, $55,000.00 per year
