Power Electronics is searching for new team members to sustain its business presence in the US and continue to provide its clients with outstanding support.


Job description


This position is responsible for implementation of field and office H&S procedures in assigned service regions/ job sites within the Eastern area of the US.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages safety programs on all assigned projects and job sites.
  • Provides regulatory and policy review and interpretation and technical advice.
  • Recommends improvements in process, policies and procedures.
  • Assists in establishing Safety Culture with Power Electronics employees in the assigned region.
  • Continually reviews leading indicators from audit summaries, daily observations, and injury statistics to propose structured programs to continually lower risks associated with potential accidents and losses.
  • Monitors workers' compensation issues with the HR Department.
  • Responsible for safety program development, implementation, and oversight of assigned tasks.
  • Interfaces with government agencies, including OSHA.
  • Interacts with Management, Regional Leads, service personnel, and site supervision to ensure efficient administration of H&S issues.
  • Health and Safety incident management.
  • Implements safety inductions, review of electrical procedures, risk assessments of processes, workplaces, machines and equipment, ergonomic analyzes.
  • Field and plant auditing & reporting.
  • Responsible for selection of PPEs.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in safety & health or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Has excellent knowledge of OSHA.
  • Electrical Knowledge preferred.
  • Skilled at making verbal and written presentations and communication to others.
  • Good interpersonal relations by working well with teams internally and externally.

Skills required

  • Has working knowledge and experience in Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc. Can use technology to your advantage for increased efficiency.
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal relations by working well with teams internally and externally.
  • Skilled at making verbal and written presentations and communications with others.

$120, $140,000.00 per year
