    Description


    Due to growth and expansion we are adding a Quality Manager to oversee our Central TX region. We have projects in both the Austin and San Antonio area. In this position you will report to our Corporate Quality Manager and working very closely with the local VP.

    On top of a competitive base salary we offer annual bonuses, family benefits, 4% matching 401k, vehicle allowance and gas card.

    Functions
    • Assist multiple project teams with developing and implementing site-specific quality plans.
    • Responsible for a thorough understanding of project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
    • Monitor construction quality and support project staff in performing day-to-day activities applicable to the Quality Management System.
    • Regularly visit projects and help project teams identify and document key project quality challenges.
    • Share lessons learned throughout the company to continuously improve and reduce rework.
    • Troubleshoot and provide input into solving engineering and project technical problems/constructability issues.
    • Provides quality expertise and advice in proactively resolving compliance issues (i.e., codes, standards, specifications, and regulations).
    • Ability to create piping and equipment testing plans.
    • Reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the projects which are designed to ensure continuous quality improvement.
    • Provide job site coaching and guidance on quality reporting and assist with monitoring trends and re-occurring quality issues.
    • Maintain relationships with owner, subcontractors, design partners, and stakeholders to support project partnering and issue resolution.
    • Coordinate project quality training and partnering efforts.
    • Lead the company quality culture by promoting, recognizing, and rewarding positive behaviors.
    • Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Provide quality-related input in project management planning, documentation setup, and initial partnering efforts.
    Basic Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, a minimum of 3 years dedicated to quality program planning and implementation.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or electrical), construction management, or related degree. An equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training may be substituted.
    • Able to effectively communicate to project personnel and senior management the core values of quality management as an integral part of project delivery.
    • Prior field experience in drafting project-specific quality plans and working with teams and owners on plan creation and implementation.
    • Experience and understanding of Quality and Lean principles.
    • Able to travel within the region as required.
    • Technical certifications/accreditations in Quality Management, inspection/NDE/code activities at the highest level.
    • Proficient knowledge of various software, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, Microsoft Office Suite products, SharePoint, Blue Beam, Revu, etc.
