Part-time Medical Transcriptionist (m/f/d) for our team in Everman, TX

We are a personal hospital under Christian management on the green Elbe island of Wilhelmsburg - in close proximity to Hamburg city center and the harbor.

We provide basic and standard care for approximately 55,000 residents of the island, as well as specialized care in the areas of surgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, intensive care, geriatrics, and geriatric and neurological early rehabilitation, with a total of 208 inpatient beds and 20 day clinic beds.

What to expect

You will be responsible for transcribing and proofreading medical reports, letters, and discharge summaries.
You will communicate with our patients, payers, and employees.
You will support our transcription and secretarial department, for example, with appointment coordination.

What we are looking for

You have good spelling skills and are proficient in common MS Office programs.
Ideally, you have previous experience with medical terminology.
Your work style is characterized by customer service and responsibility.
You are a teamoriented communicator, but also able to work independently.
