- Own and maintain accurate deferred revenue and deferred costs reconciliations monthly, including revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Collaborate across other departments to ensure accurate project tracking
- Participate in the month-end close process by reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Perform variance analysis on revenue
- Update and maintain internal closing schedules
- Prepare journal entries for upload into our accounting system
- Assist with annual financial audit tasks
- Assist with other ad hoc tasks, as needed
- In-depth knowledge of ASC 606
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- At least 3 years experience with balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Intermediate Excel skills and modeling experience
- Experience with Workday accounting system (preferred, but not required)

About The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our accounting team This is a unique opportunity to work at an established conversational AI company on a mission to make every customer interaction effortless. This role reports to our Accounting Manager.
In this role, you will utilize your GAAP accounting experience, ambition, and high attention to detail to own and manage our deferred revenue and deferred costs schedules and reconciliations, prepare journal entries for our month-end close, and gain exposure to the accounting and reporting cycles in a structured environment.
This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in Franklin, MA (where our headquarter is located), or anywhere else in the US.
