- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Month-end and Year-end Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of adjusting entries.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of external audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Tax Reporting: Assist in tax preparation and compliance activities, working closely with tax professionals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient accounting procedures.
- Financial Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including supporting documentation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as procurement, sales, and operations to provide financial guidance and support.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Proven experience as a staff accountant with at least 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP.
