    The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the investment fund industry in search of a Staff Accountant to join their team The Staff Accountant will work under the Controller and will be responsible for one of the retail company's portfolios. Looking for candidates who want to join, build, and contribute to a great team and an evolving culture

    Type of Hire: Direct Hire

    Title: Staff Accountant

    Software: QuickBooks

    Location: Houston, TX

    Work Schedule: Full-time in office, Mon - Fri

    Compensation: $70, 000 - $80, 000

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Prepare and review financial statements.
  • Reconcile accounts.
  • Management reporting
  • Treasury management
  • Lender borrowing base preparation.
  • Timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting in a corporate environment.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience with retail/supplier accounting from the perspective of supplier billing, collections, tracking discounts and allowances, promotional accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
