- Maintain order and organization of the work area including compacting boxes
- Assigned warehouse functions could include:
- Package goods according to selected carrier specifications and quality standards
- Pull material for kits, shortages, work orders and/or shippers in accordance with FIFO policy
- Put away stock from receiving, airfreight, sea freight, material transfer orders and shop
- Update the system with the location for any material returned to stock
- Create repair work orders for discrepant material
- Process material transactions using the ERP system or on the hand held devices
- Assist in daily cycle counting
- Maintain warehouse equipment including but not limited to printers, tape dispensers, fork-lift, and compactor
- Verify all work to eliminate errors
- Ask for clarification or assistance as needed
- Interface with internal and external customers
- Maintain necessary files and documentation
- Follow procedures as established
- All other duties as assigned
- Reading, writing and basic math skills
- PC literate with experience in MS Word, Excel and database programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
