    Job Title: Regional Support Technician

    Location: Chicago, IL

    Job Summary:

    Are you ready to take on the challenge of being a Regional Support Technician in Chicago? This role is all about keeping robotic systems up and running smoothly across the region. It will involve a fair amount of travel, using your technical know-how to ensure customers are happy. If you're a pro at fixing mechanical, electrical, and robotic issues and are all about safety and top-notch service, you're the person we're looking for.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carry out both planned and emergency repairs on robotic systems to keep them in top shape.
    • Act as a go-to technical support for your colleagues, offering them advice and helping out.
    • Run training sessions to boost the skills of your team members in all things technical.
    • Make safety your number one priority, following all procedures both on-site and within the company.
    • Keep track of equipment maintenance and spare parts inventory like a pro.
    • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers to make service support more efficient.
    • Create a positive work atmosphere and encourage teamwork among your peers.

    Qualifications:

    • Hold an Associate's Degree (AA) and have at least six years of relevant experience and training under your belt.
    • Be prepared to travel extensively with a valid driver's license and solid auto insurance.
    • Be a whiz at troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and robotic issues.
    • Show off your top-notch customer service skills, keeping those client relationships positive.
    • Have experience providing phone support and fixing technical problems.
    • Be great at managing service reports and spare parts orders.
    • Prove your ability to handle safety and service issues like a champ.
    • Have previously worked in a similar field service role.
    • Live in or near the Chicago area.

    Note: This job isn't for newbies; we need candidates with substantial experience and know-how in mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems. You'll be traveling 100% in the Chicago area.

    • PLC Programming Experience
    • PLC Wiring Experience
    • Background in a Manufacturing Setting
    • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing)

    Tools of the trade you'll be working with:

    • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Allen Bradley)

    Salary info:

    $37 - $40 per hour
