Senior Financial Analyst - Florida - up to $120,000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. This is a hybrid role based in Florida, offering the opportunity for both remote and in-office work. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning and analysis efforts, with a specific focus on administering the adaptive planning tool.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to drive decision-making.
Assist in the administration and optimization of the adaptive planning tool, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management, providing meaningful analysis and recommendations.
Conduct variance analysis to assess performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, incorporating input from various stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with experience administering planning tools such as Adaptive Insights or similar platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and create impactful presentations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present findings to senior leadership.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
