    Description

    Summary:

    We're in search of a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a technical team focusing on Order Modeling. You'll spearhead the design and implementation of solutions catering to the trading desk's needs, spanning new product developments and order modeling workflows. Operating within both on-prem and cloud-based setups, you'll adapt applications, APIs, and databases to meet the evolving demands of the financial sector. This role offers ample opportunities to enhance trading activities on a global scale while fostering collaboration across teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and drive performance within the engineering team to achieve project objectives.
    • Provide hands-on guidance to ensure timely project delivery.
    • Mentor and develop software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Ensure the quality, maintainability, and security of developed solutions.
    • Contribute to departmental strategies and drive their implementation.
    • Identify and address complex issues, offering pragmatic solutions.
    • Engage with stakeholders to understand and address business challenges.
    • Proactively manage team performance and development, including recruitment and mentoring.
    • Lead large-scale projects and navigate technical and organizational complexities effectively.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years of progressive engineering leadership experience.
    • Familiarity with Order Management or Investment Management systems preferred.
    • Proficiency in object-oriented languages, with a strong preference for C# and .NET.
    • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, AWS, and agile methodologies.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
