    Seeking candidates in their Junior or Senior year of BSN or final year of ADN program.

    Summary:

    Position Overview:

    The Nurse Technician I supports patient/family education and provides care for a group of patients under the guidance of a licensed nurse.

    • Assist in delivering individualized care for a group of patients under nurse supervision.
    • Support patient/family education under nurse direction.
    • Contribute to patient care assessment.
    • Participate in educational activities within the department and nursing unit.
    • Demonstrate necessary knowledge and skills to address patients' physical, emotional, educational, and safety needs across different age groups.
    • Perform other required duties.

    Education and Experience

    1. Education: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program as a Junior or Senior, or in the second year of an associate degree program.
    2. Certification: Must have current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association.
    3. Relevant experience: No specific experience required, but some healthcare background is desirable.
    4. Supervisory experience: Not required.
