- Develop marketing plans and facilitate communications projects across the various functions of the marketing department to facilitate execution of marketing strategies supporting the college's grant-funded, workforce and new credit and non-credit programs at launch.
- Analyze current and past marketing efforts to optimize the efficiency of marketing campaigns, covering all phases from planning and budgeting to execution and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure marketing materials feature engaging content and design aligned with the college's brand standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for the division(s) across the full range services, offering guidance on the most effective solutions, tracking and resolving issues, and managing priorities and escalations.
- Support an efficient workflow within the Marketing department (or external agency), including meeting all deadlines and milestones, managing projects in flight, and updating project status as needed with all stakeholders.
- Work with project stakeholders at all levels of management and to define deliverables and meet timelines.
- Utilize technology as needed to best serve the project needs.
- Identify and optimize data sources for each project using the college CRM to support enrollment targets.
- Collaborate with outside suppliers, if needed, to develop the assets and strategies needed to meet grant, workforce, or program objectives.
- Coordinate client asset review and feedback consolidation to enable the Marketing team to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
- Produce accurate and meaningful operational reports, including traffic, trend analysis, marketing campaign recaps, and departmental analytics.

- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
- Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and brand building.
- Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with internal clients.

Summary
The Marketing Program Specialist leverages project management and strategic communication best practices which will be utilized to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. This role leads the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated, results-oriented strategic marketing and communications for new grant-funded initiatives, workforce programs, and other new programs as they are launched for the college. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, creativity, and a thorough understanding of marketing principles and techniques. This position may occasionally have to travel to the Peoria campus for work.
