Overview:

  • Expected pay for this position is $ $41.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.***: The Compliance Specialist provides highly specialized expertise within the organization and works collaboratively with leadership, staff and other compliance officers and auditors to proactively consult and educate to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations for programs. When gaps are identified, the specialist partners with the responsible parties to create corrective actions plans that will ensure compliance going forward. This position will also serve as the OSF Section 504/Accessibility Compliance Specialist and assists and supports the OSF Accessibility Compliance Officer in administering and monitoring the OSF Accessibility Compliance Program in accordance with federal, state, and local laws concerning discrimination issues based on disability. Assists in updating policies as well as conducts investigations, summarize evidence, and drafts reports. Position will represent Accessibility Compliance Officer for internal department level meetings. Program supports allinclusive care and accessibility compliance including PACE, research, privacy, accessibility and HIPAA.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related discipline in a healthcare profession
  • Experience: 5 years of healthcare experience with 1 year being in compliance, audit, legal, quality or safety
  • Other skills/knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills, motivated, selfdirected, able to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, achieve results, adapt readily to change, and work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and develop informative audit reports.
  • Analytical abilities to understand and complete statistical analysis, sampling techniques and reporting methods preferred.
