- Meet with commercial account and loan prospects in-person every week including on-site business visits, lunches, and dinner meetings.
- Meet monthly commercial account sales call goals and commercial loan volume goals.
- Prepare monthly reports to the VP of Commercial Lending on calling activity, prospective MBL/Commercial loans in the pipeline, and reports on existing commercial loan activities including performance, delinquency, and commitment reports.
- Develop material for and make loan presentations to the Commercial Loan Committee and Executive Credit Committee when necessary.
- Perform monthly inspections for commercial construction, commercial loan reviews, and consumer residential construction within assigned territory.
- Participate in after-hour community events or groups/associations conducive to obtaining and developing relationships for commercial loan prospects as well as Westmark sponsored events.
- Is able to interact with members and co-workers professionally and with integrity.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the VP of Commercial Lending.
- Maintains a reliable attendance record and takes responsibility for their own actions.
- Represents the Credit Union, both during and outside of work hours, in a courteous, professional manner.
- Is goal and performance driven to succeed and obtain objectives assigned by management
- Self-starter who enjoys working with the public and is confident in making assertive presentations
- Thorough understanding of Westmark's products, services & regulations as they pertain to duties.
- Must be detail oriented
- Effective oral and written communication, problem solving, and public relations skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations commensurate with commercial lending
- Bachelor's Degree in a financially related field and five years Westmark or other relevant banking experience; or a high school diploma and at least seven years of experience in commercial lending and management experience; or a combination of formal education, training and applicable experience.

Position Summary: Responsibilities include professionally representing Westmark in the local business communities including involvement in after-hours associations and events conducive to further commercial loan development.
