We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Loan Originator to join our team as an In-House Lender for an active real estate firm. As the In-House Lender, your main responsibility will be to oversee the loan origination process. You will need to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accuracy and efficiency at all times. Your expertise in underwriting, customer service, and financial services will be crucial in driving the success of our loan origination department.

Your duties will include:

Overseeing the loan origination process from application to closing, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently

Developing and implementing strategies to increase loan origination volume and improve customer satisfaction

Reviewing loan applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility and compliance with TILA and Fair Housing regulations

Collaborating with underwriters to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risk

Ensuring timely communication with borrowers, real estate agents, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process

Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to loan origination

Utilizing financial software systems such as Quicken for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
