    Project Engineer Plant RP

    Position Overview
    We are seeking a Project Engineer with a B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 5 years

    of


    experience in a project engineering leadership role to work in our Ringgold location to coordinate engineering projects related to the installation of new equipment and/or facilities improvement projects, as well as plan and manage capital and expense projects.

    Job Duties

    Coordinate engineering projects related to the installation of new equipment or facilities and the improvement, modification, replacement, or repair of existing equipment.


    Plan and manage capital and expense projects, prepare specifications, obtain vendor proposals, as well as schedule and manage contractors on job sites.

    Analyze problems, investigate design, coordinate engineering aspects of projects, and develop solutions.

    Analyze assigned projects to assure the proper identification of

    objectives

    , problems, and opportunities focusing on addressing operability, reliability, & maintainability.


    Collaborate with purchasing in obtaining and evaluating bids Must be able to write project proposals – CPM certification will be required.

    Must

    initiate

    purchase requisitions Must work closely with plant/divisional management and plant maintenance personnel.

    Responsible for all fire safety systems for Plant RP


    Requirements:
    4-year degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a project engineering leadership role

    Previous

    experience with AutoCAD and certified project management training will be a plus

    Must

    demonstrate

    basic understanding and application of engineering theory and be able to investigate requirements and problems of projects and develop plans for solutions

    Must be able to collect data, evaluate data & develop equipment specifications


    Preferred:
    Previous

    experience with AutoCAD and certified project management training
