Responsibilities:


  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, evaporator coolers, condensers, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining plumbing fixtures, electrical circuits, mechanical, and sanitation equipment.
  • Ensuring optimal condition of the facility by overseeing all cooking and production equipment, including convection ovens, tilt skillets, fryers, ranges, flat top grills, mixers, heat sealers, flight type and door type dish machines.
  • Documenting repair history and managing equipment inventory through a comprehensive work order system.
  • Procuring materials, coordinating repair timelines, and managing costs effectively.
  • Adheres to safety protocols when working with both high and low voltage electrical equipment.
  • Collaborating with manufacturers and vendors for specialized repair needs as necessary, ensuring seamless communication and scheduling.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in refrigeration, kitchen equipment maintenance, or a related field, with knowledge of refrigeration and electrical requirements.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing as required.
  • Able to work independently or under supervision, demonstrating punctuality and diligence.
  • Skilled in reading and writing with a strong emphasis on comprehension.
  • Thrives in fastpaced environments with heavy workloads, comfortable with prolonged periods of standing.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and oncall shifts.
  • Open to domestic and international travel if necessary.
  • High school diploma/GED required. Electrical & Plumbing certifications preferred but not required.
