    Job Description


    Develop and nurture the brand's identity and reputation in the market and ensure that the brand resonates with consumers, stands out from competitors, and aligns with the company's objectives.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Brand Strategy:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that encompasses brand positioning, values, and messaging.


    Brand Identity:


    Create and maintain the visual and verbal elements of the brand, including logos, color schemes, fonts, and tone of voice.

    Brand

    Communication:
    Plan and oversee all brand-related communications, both internal and external, to maintain consistency and authenticity.


    Copywriting:
    Create and manage PR, annual brochure, ad, social media product naming and any additional copy needs.


    Social Media:
    Developing strategies and annual plan to increase followers, creating and overseeing social media campaigns, producing content and reviewing analytics (including key indicator reports and reporting on monthly Social Media metrics.


    Market Research:
    Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, market trends, and competitors to inform brand strategies.


    Art Direction/Photo Shoot:


    Manage all photo shoots with internal staff and external photographers and videographers, including scheduling of talent (including team manager for athletes), selecting all images to go with all communications, social postings, website and brochure.


    Product Launches:


    Collaborate with VP of Marketing to ensure new product launches align with the brand identity and effectively communicate product benefits.


    Brand Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor brand health, consumer sentiment, and brand performance through market research and feedback analysis.


    Marketing Campaigns:
    Develop and oversee marketing campaigns that reinforce the brand's image and resonate with the target audience.


    Brand Collateral:
    Create and manage brand collateral, including brochures, advertisements, websites, and promotional materials, including social media posts, etc.

    Cross-functional

    Internal Collaboration:
    Collaborate with various internal departments on communications, to ensure alignment with brand objectives.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Collaborate with various external vendors and suppliers on communications, to ensure alignment with brand objectives.


    Qualifications:
    Qualifications

    Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work closely with all members of the organization.

    Strong facilitation skills.

    Excellent organization and project management skills

    Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.

    Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

    Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

    Ability to juggle and manage competing tasks and demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.


    Ability to make sound judgements and take the initiative to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions/choices within the functional area of responsibility with minimal direct supervision.

    Regular and punctual attendance.

    Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.

    Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.

    Knowledge, Education and or Experience required:


    Education:
    A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or certifications in branding are beneficial.

    Experience:


    5 years of experience in brand management or related roles, with a track record of successfully developing and maintaining strong brands.


    Strategic Thinker:
    Ability to develop a long-term brand strategy aligned with business goals and market trends.


    Analytical Skills:
    Proficiency in data analysis to monitor brand performance and derive insights for improvement.


    Creativity:
    Innovative thinking to create compelling brand messaging and visuals.


    Communication:
    Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the brand's message and values.



    Software:

    Design

    Software:

    Adobe Creative Cloud (including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) or alternatives like CorelDRAW for creating brand visuals and assets.


    Market Research Tools:
    Tools such as Nielsen, Ipsos MORI or alternatives for conducting market research and tracking consumer sentiment.


    Project Management Tools:
    Software like Asana, Trello and or alternatives for managing brand-related projects and collaborations.


    Social Media Management Tools:
    Platforms like Hootsuite, Buffer and Sprout Social or alternatives for scheduling and analyzing social media posts and engagement.

    Brand Asset Management (BAM)

    Software:

    Systems like Bynder and Widen Collective or alternatives for organizing and distributing brand assets.


    Collaboration Tools:
    Tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams for cross-functional collaboration and communication.


    Physical Requirements:
    Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature occasionally.

    Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time.

    Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary.

    This is a safety sensitive position.


    Additional Requirements:
    Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to DOT Regulations).

    Employees in safety-sensitive positions must report to work fit for duty and must remain fit for duty throughout their workday.

    To be fit for duty, the employee must not be impaired by alcohol, illicit drugs, or medication.
