- Drafting, reviewing and revising various transactional documents (including purchase/sale agreements, operating agreements, stock/share-related transactions, etc.)
- Assisting on due diligence projects for M&A and private equity transactions
- Identifying and relaying issues to senior attorneys for resolution
- Communicate and interact with clients, partners, counsel, associates and staff
- Develop practice area expertise, assist with knowledge management and business development efforts and participate in training sessions
- J.D. from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of the Illinois State Bar
- Three year's work experience in a corporate law environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic about knowledge of transactional/corporate work
- Team-oriented mindset as well as the ability to take ownership of and complete tasks without direct supervision
- Interpersonal skills enabling successful and professional communication
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Available to work overtime on nights and weekends

The firm seeks a full-time Corporate Staff Attorney to become an integral member of our highly ranked Corporate team. The ideal candidate will manage transactions and be capable of independent responsibility for major documentation.
