- Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough financial and legal due diligence on potential litigation finance investments, including detailed case assessment, financial modeling, and risk analysis.
- Deal Execution: Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of litigation finance transactions. Prepare investment memos, term sheets, and other transaction-related documentation.
- Market Research: Monitor and analyze market trends, legal developments, and competitive landscape to identify new investment opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Portfolio Management: Support the management of the firm's existing litigation finance portfolio, including performance tracking, risk management, and reporting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with legal teams, external counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough evaluation and successful execution of investments.
- Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's strategic initiatives, including new product development and process improvements.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A, leveraged finance, or restructuring.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, JD) or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
