_Qualifications_:
Required

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or the equivalent thereof. (May be waived only upon approval of the Executive Director.)
  • Five years post graduate experience in a mental health setting, three at a supervisory level, responsible for Master's level graduate students or above.
  • Experience in substance use treatment is required.
  • Massachusetts Independent Licensure (LICSW, LMHC)
Preferred

  • Supervision of paid graduate level staff.
  • Essential Functions and Responsibilities_:
  • Provide individual and group supervision to clinical staff members and oversee the
work of clinical staff in areas of counseling relationships, client welfare, clinical assessments, intervention approaches, and ethics.

  • Evaluate clients in administering biopsychosocial and develop and implement treatment plans accordingly while reassessing and modifying as needed and oversee all clinicians' training for treatment plan development.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, Department of Children and Families, DPH, BSAS.
  • Responsible for DPH clinical licensing requirements.
  • Develop Policy and Procedure in compliance with DPH and COA regulations.
  • Facilitate weekly mandatory clinical meetings.
  • Participate in weekly Manager's Meeting.
  • Monitor all Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
  • Attend monthly ABH Opioid Program Providers Meetings.
  • Recruit and train clinical staff ongoing training program.
  • Development of Clinical Orientation Program.
  • Development of COA team and monitor the compliance of COA to meet accreditation standards.
  • Recruit, screen, interview and hire additional clinical and clinical intern staff as needed.
  • Act as a liaison with schools and other training programs for field placements at ATCNE.
  • Supervise MSW and Counseling Psychology interns, including meeting with supervisors and assessing performance.
  • Plan and oversee all client care or administrative and development of new programs.
  • Assign cases and create schedules for all clinical staff.
  • Provide staff with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development.
  • Evaluate performance and discipline staff, when necessary, in compliance with personnel policy and procedure.
  • Oversee intake process for new clients.
  • Act as clinical contact for all clients not assigned to therapists, as needed.
  • Responsible for Program Director aspects of SAMHSA's Accreditation.
  • Participate in the Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) Program.
  • Assist CEO in program and policy planning and development.
  • Assume administrative responsibility, along with Nursing and Medical Directors, for ATCNE operations in the absence of the CEO.
  • Consult to staff in crisis situations and provide referrals to appropriate services, as needed.
  • Be familiar with all clinical policies and protocols. Establish new, or modify existing protocols as needed. Communicate changes in clinical policy and protocols to clients and staff.
  • Oversee transfer of information from ATCNE clinical records to collateral contacts.
  • Establish contacts with communitybased agency for the provision of substance abuse education, training, and consultation by ATCNE personnel.
  • Assist in the settlement of disputes between clinical staff and clients and conflicts between clinical staff members as needed.
  • Ensure assignment of all clients to individual, group, couples and/or family therapy, as indicated.
  • Design, develop and implement (or oversee the design, development, and implementation) of appropriate therapy groups for clients.
  • Act as the agency Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Coordinator
