- Experience in Medication-Assisted Treatment Programs (MAT)
- Experience facilitating psychoeducational, processes, and/or cognitive groups
- Ability to assess situations and exercise good judgment
- Strong professional ethics and boundaries
- Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing techniques
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the capability to manage a heavy caseload and client-related documentation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Independent licensing in addiction treatment, mental health counseling, social work, or equivalent field
- Bilingual/bicultural, particularly Spanish/English proficiency
- Experience in assessment and therapy for adults with addictive and mental health disorders
- Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing techniques and knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care practices
- Contribute to program integration and success through teamwork, guidance, engagement in activities and training, and promoting organizational unity
- Provide individual counseling services addressing treatment planning, relapse prevention, family interventions, legal issues, and more
- Facilitate and document group counseling sessions as per program structure
- Maintain timely documentation of client interactions including evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and summaries
- Engage in individual and group supervision, staff meetings, and in-service training
- Collaborate with other providers for coordinated treatment
- Maintain confidentiality and complete required administrative tasks
- Make necessary referrals and comply with agency policies
